Warner Memorial Flea Market Rescheduled

Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church Announces
Community Flea Market Rescheduled
Kensington, MD - May 16, 2009
The Community Flea Market sponsored by Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church originally scheduled for May 2nd will be held on the rain date of May 16, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM in Warner's parking lot at the corner of Prospect St. and Connecticut Ave. in Kensington. The community is invited to help Warner repair homes for the needy by participating in the Flea Market. Spaces at the Flea Market are available for $15.00 and spaces with tables are available for $25.00. In addition to goods being sold by vendors, baked goods, plants and refreshments will be sold by Warner members.
All proceeds from space and table rentals will help fund Warner Memorial's trip to Cumberland, MD at the end of June to repair the homes of people in dire need. Warner is returning to Cumberland after two years of helping rebuild New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. This will be Warner's eighth visit to Cumberland to work with the NAILS mission project in repairing local Cumberland homes. NAILS was started after severe flooding damaged homes in the Cumberland area ten years ago.
Tables and spaces are limited. To reserve a space or table contact Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church at 301-949-2900 or WarnerMemorial@comcast.net
The Press Contact for this event is Bill Burns at 301-933-7799.
