Warner Memorial Presbyterian Advent Festival & Alternative Gift Fair

Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church Announces
Advent Festival &
Alternative Gift Fair

Prepare for the Season of Advent and Christmas! Children of all ages are invited to a day of holiday gift making, cookie baking, and celebrating the arrival of St. Nicholas at Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church, 10123 Connecticut Avenue in Kensington on Saturday, December 1st from 10AM to 2PM. St. Nicholas will be the honored guest at a special holiday feast starting at Noon and will share some of his gift giving ideas. The cost for the meal is a donation of canned goods for the Capt. Mattingly food pantry at Mid-County-United-Ministries in Wheaton.

Also featured will be an Alternative Gift Fair, highlighting items to order from SERRV. One of the first alternative trade organizations in the world, SERRV has helped support low-income artisans and farmers around the world for 60 years. By purchasing a unique and interesting gift, you can have a global impact. 10% of sales proceeds will be donated to the Moringa Tree Project in the Republic of the Congo. Samples will be on display throughout the day and orders will be taken for delivery on December 14th.
