KENSINGTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY MEETING

November 11th KHS Meeting: “Only Yesterday: A Historic Glance at ‘the Dan’.” Local historian and past KHS president, Bill Maury will be our speaker. His talk is about a strip of land from the Ken Gar Park west to the other side of the Pike. It will cover a microcosm of American growth, war, crime, education and mismanagement - from colonial to modern times. We’ll start with coffee at 7:00, program at 7:30, followed by a brief business meeting in the Town Hall lower level.
