Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church Announces:

Food Collection for Rainbow Place

rainbow place

Kensington, MD - February Through March, 2008

During February and March, the Deacons of Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church will be receiving donations of juice boxes and prepackaged snacks to deliver to Rainbow Place, a women's shelter in Rockville. These items are used to prepare bag lunches that are distributed to the ladies staying at the shelter when they leave the shelter for the day. The lunches are often the only food they will have until returning to the shelter at night.

Warner has also contributed 200 cans of soup and $270 to Rainbow Place which the Warner Youth raised on Souper Bowl Sunday, January 27th. Warner also invites people to prepare and serve dinner at Rainbow Place on Saturday nights in March. Please Call June Eakin at 301-949-2900 for information.
