Winterfest Children's Carnival

The Learning Center for Young Children (LCYC) will host its annual Winterfest children's indoor carnival on Saturday, February 7th, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The carnival will be held in Warner Presbyterian Church, 10123 Connecticut Avenue in historic Kensington, MD (1 mile north of beltway).
General Admission is free; tickets sold separately for carnival activities. Activities for children of all ages will include a MOON BOUNCE, CARNIVAL GAMES, FACE PAINTING, AND CRAFTS.
Three performances will be offered by the Banjo Man Frank Cassel. Tickets will be sold at the door.
A SILENT AUCTION also will feature dinners at area restaurants, gift certificates, gift baskets, and other items.
Pizza will be sold and gourmet desserts may be purchased at the annual BAKE SALE.
Please note: Snow date is Saturday, February 14, 2009.
